1. Who we are
FreightAutos is a service of MilestoneBrokers LLC, a licensed property broker (USDOT 04250815). This policy explains how we handle personal information that reaches us through www.freightautos.com and by email.

2. What we collect
When you send our quote or contact form, we receive what you enter:
- your name, company, email address and phone number
- the service you need, pickup and delivery locations, and dates
- vehicle details: type, year, make, model, number of vehicles, whether they run, and the type of transport you prefer
- the options you select (commercial or dealership shipment, expedited, door-to-door) and your notes or message
With each form we also record your IP address and your browser's user agent (a line of text that names your browser and device), and we give your request a reference number.
To filter out automated spam, the forms include a hidden field and measure how long the form took to fill in. Both are checked when you send the form and are not stored.
When you email us, we receive your email address and what you tell us.
When you browse the site, our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address and the pages you request, to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.
This site has no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Our cookie notice explains the one item the site keeps in your browser.
3. Why we use it
- to answer your request and prepare a quote
- to arrange the transport of your vehicle with a licensed motor carrier if you book with us
- to keep you informed about your shipment
- to block spam and abuse of our forms
- to keep the records the law requires of a property broker
4. Who receives it
- Motor carriers. If you book a shipment, the carrier that moves your vehicle receives what it needs to do so: the names and phone numbers of the people at pickup and delivery, the addresses, the dates and the vehicle details.
- Service providers that run our website and email for us: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (the database that stores form submissions) and Google Workspace (email).
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Because this site has no advertising or analytics tools, nothing you do on it is passed to ad networks.
5. How long we keep it
We keep quote and contact requests for 3 years. Records of booked shipments are kept for as long as the law requires.
6. How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions go to our server and are stored in a database that can't be read from the public website.
7. Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it unless the law requires us to keep it. Email Michael@freightautos.com. We reply to privacy requests within 30 days.
8. Children
This site is for people arranging vehicle transport and isn't directed at children.
9. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
